Astral 3-204 for showing the most improvement in
behavior. He has quickly become a role model for his

would like to recognize three students because I have
three groups of students. First, Kelsey Meador will be
recognized because she is nice, helpful, and a very good
friend to others. Next, Chris Anderson will be recognized
because he is really nice, a great friend, and he is very
funny and friendly. Last, Julie Printz will be recognized
because she is a great friend and she is always kind and
willing to give away supplies when others are in need.
These students have been recommended by their peers to be
recognized for their Random Acts of Kindness.

I am proud to honor Joshua and Nicole of class 2-A225 for
their random act of kindness. After my lesson I was
circulating the room to see how the children were
working. I noticed that these children quietly got out of
their seats to help their classmates, Jean and Odika. I
was thrilled that they took the initiative to help their
classmates. It's nice to see such caring children! We all
learned a good lesson from Joshua and Nicole that day!

Nicholas
is a multitalented fifth grader at the Steele Elementary School.
In drama club, he will be playing "Toad" in "A Year With Frog and
Toad" which is our school musical. We salute Nicholas for
preparing food baskets for needy families on Thanksgiving. He
filled laundry baskets with boxes of Stove Top Stuffing, canned
yams, cans of cranberry sauce, lots of sweets and other
Thanksgiving treats! He saved Thanksgiving in the "Nick" of
time!

RAOK honoree for this month is Keldon. He went out of his
way to make a new student feel right at home in
Asheville. It's so hard to be a new student and Keldon
jumped right in and made friends with
Peter.

White is our nominee for October. David is a terrific
member of our class who is a good friend to all. He
constantly is looking for ways to help around the
classroom. He never wastes a moment. He has wonderful
ideas and enjoys sharing stories with us.
Mollie
Battista is our nominee for November. Mollie demonstrates
random acts of kindness every day. She goes out of her way
to help classmates. She straightens out the bookcases
without being asked. She is always on the look out for
lost items and returns them to her classmates. I am glad
she is part of our class. Everyone appreciates her
kindness.
